How accurate is the AI line-item extraction?

The AI is trained on contractor speech and handles the way you actually describe jobs — "8 gallons at 70 each," "32 hours of labor," "two coats." It catches material, labor, equipment, and other categories. Every line item is editable in the Review screen before you send.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

Tap any line item in the Review screen to edit the description, quantity, unit price, or category. Add new items manually if anything's missing. The AI gives you a starting point — you ship the final quote.

How does the free tier work?

Free users can create and send up to 3 quotes per month. The counter resets on the 1st of each month. There's no time limit on free use — quote three jobs every month forever, or upgrade when you need more.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Open iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → WalkQuote Pro → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Does WalkQuote work without internet?

You can record audio without internet, and the recording will be saved to your phone. The AI extraction step requires a connection — once you reconnect, the app will finish processing and your quote will appear. Sending quotes also requires internet (we email/text the link).

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored in Supabase (a managed Postgres provider). It's encrypted in transit and at rest. Only you can access your quotes — no one else, not even us, browses your data. See our privacy policy for the full breakdown.

Can my client use the quote without installing the app?

Yes. When you send a quote, the client gets a link (like walkquote.app/q?id=xxx) that opens in any browser — phone or desktop. They see the quote, can accept or decline, and you get notified. No app install required for clients.

Can I add my logo to PDFs?

Yes — Pro users can upload a logo in Settings. It appears on every PDF and on the public quote viewer. PNG and JPG formats supported.

I want to delete my account.

Email support@walkquote.app from the email address tied to your account. We'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 7 days.

Does WalkQuote work outside the US?

The app works anywhere with internet. Currency is USD by default; we're working on international currency support. The voice recognition handles English well; other languages are on the roadmap.
